Absentee voting period for the 2026 Primary Election begins Friday, June 26, 2026.  Voters residing in Carlton County may cast absentee ballots in person at the following location from June 26 through August 10, 2026:

• In-Person absentee voting for ALL Carlton County voters is available at the Carlton County Historic Courthouse (downtown Carlton)

Times: 

• 8:00 to 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday during regular business days 
• 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on the Saturday before election day, August 8, 2026 
• 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on the Monday before election day, August 10, 2026h
