Hunting by bow and arrow within the City of Cloquet requires approval of a permit administered by the Cloquet Police Department.  Click on City Code to view Chapter 6, Section 6.15.

Applicants must provide the following:

• Completed Archery Deer Hunting Application
• Clear photocopy of valid license to hunt with bow and arrow issued by the appropriate authority
• Clear photocopy of valid state-issued ID or driver’s license
• If the applicant will be using a crossbow, the hunter must provide a clear photocopy of valid MN DNR disability permit

Permits will be granted solely by the discretion of the City.

Any hunter that is successful in taking a deer with a bow and arrow must complete "Report of Game Taken" form and provide it to the police department within 24 hours. This may be provided by dropping completed form off at 101-14th Street by faxing to (218) 879-1190 or email to records@cloquetmn.gov.
